Our Story
Three years ago, our founder Marlowe was sitting at her kitchen table in Newcastle, surrounded by receipts and calculator tape. She'd tried every budgeting method imaginable — from envelope systems to complex spreadsheets that took hours to maintain.
The breaking point came when she spent an entire Saturday updating her budget tracker, only to realize she'd miscategorized half her expenses. That evening, she called her developer friend Quincy and said, "There has to be a better way."
